If I've learned anything from this experience, it is trust. I put myself in the expert hands of someone competent and empathetic, and came out of the situation with a lot of new information...about myself. That unbeknownst to me, my body had been changing, and that my aesthetic hadn't kept up. That my figure was a lot less awkward and a lot more hospitable to elegant clothing in styles I had never before explored. And that a gentle push every once in a while can send me free-falling into one of the most beautiful, sublime experiences of my life.
